My grandfather, Parnell Sullivan, worked as a chef on the railroad for 50 years. This scarf reminds me of him. The rails can appear closer or further apart depending upon the speed of the train. Thus, this asymmetrical ribbing design re-imagines the rails of the train tracks upon which he traveled.
