Wherever you are headed the Travel Tricolor Shawl is ready! Tuck this shawl in your carry-on bag for when the plane turns cold as a deep freezer. Once you’ve arrived keep it handy in your tote for those chilly museums and drafty churches! Of course, it is just as useful stateside in over air-conditioned offices. Kidsilk Haze blended with any quality fingering weight alpaca will give stunning results.

Materials:
• 3 skeins Blue Sky Alpaca Royal Petites: 100 yds/35 gms, 100% Royal Alpaca.
o Color A: Petticoat, Color B: Pewter, Color C: Oyster
• 3 skeins Rowan Kidsilk Haze: 229 yds/25 gms, 70% Mohair and 30% Silk.
o Color D: Steel # 664
• Size 10 – 40” circular needles
• Clover gold bent tip needle
• Clip ring marker

Gauge: 15 sts to 4” = 3.75 sts to 1” in st st on size 10 needles with one strand of A and D.

Approximate Finished Size (before blocking):
60” long and 15” wide.

For Yarn Substitutions:
Royal Petites is a fingering weight alpaca yarn that is incredibly soft. It creates a light and decadent fabric that’s pure luxury. Royal has been discontinued.

Important Note:
Entire shawl is knit double strand with either 2 strands of Kidsilk Haze or one strand of Kidsilk Haze and one strand of Royal Petite.
