Traveler’s Convertible Scarf
I’m not getting to do any traveling this summer, so I threw my fantasies of feeling sophisticated and cultured as I wander through bustling cities into a scarf design. Like any experienced traveler this scarf is flexible, with a row of buttons that allow it to transform from a regular scarf into an infinity scarf. It is also light and soft, so it is a perfect layering piece for slipping into an air-conditioned movie theater to take in a French film, or spending a relaxing evening walking by the ocean. The varied colors of the beautiful Medina from Berroco ensure that it will complement all of your easy-pack clothes.
This pattern uses just two balls of the Medina, and is quick to knit. The variety of stitch patterns keeps it interesting. The finished product is roughly 10”/25.4cm x 64”/163cm. It uses one set of knitting needles, some stitch markers, a row counter and 7 buttons of your choosing.
Happy Knitting!
