Revised vs.2 with clearer instructions & photo tutorial of foundation twist.
Did you know that Scallops are the only migratory bivalve? They travel, or swim, by rapidly opening and closing their shells.
Their repetitive and radiating fan shaped shell is iconic of seashells around the world because of this.
This pattern uses a traditional crochet motif of shells that are opened by chain 1 in the center and the Möbius design keeps the pattern moving constantly with no apparent beginning or end.
Gauge: 4 shell motif (2 dc, 1 ch, 2 dc) = 4.5” blocked
