I love the Pinwheel yarn, but I don’t have the patience for the small gauge needles, so I used two strands for this pattern (from the center and from the outside of the skein). This can end in a tangled mess, but in the process, you get a beautiful beanie! Any yarn that can yield the same gauge will do well though.
