Traveling Cable Socks

Knit flat on 2 needles. Join as you go: no seaming required.
Size: Woman’s 8.

MATERIALS:
Set of size 5 needles
3 oz. worsted weight yarn (2 colors)

STITCHES:
C4B: Cable 4 back
C4F: Cable 4 front
Connect: (On knit rows) Pick up a st the st on the side from other side
of work, pass last st worked over picked up st, connecting it to
the side you’re working on.
(On purl rows) Pick up a st the st on the side from other side
of work, pass last st worked over picked up st, connecting it to
the side you’re working on.
K: Knit
M1: Make 1 by knitting into the bar between sts
P: Purl
P2tog: Purl 2 together
Sl1: Slip stitch as if to purl
Ssk: Slip, slip, knit the 2 slipped sts from right needle
