The Traveling Hopes cowl is a gentle nod to the spirit of the 1920’s from the perspective of contemporary eyes during the uncertain times of covid19. It is inspired by the lively and vibrant work of artist Sonia Delaunay.

• Yarn: Ancient Arts (100% Superwash Extra Fine Merino DK / Light Worsted; 220 yards /200 meters per 3.5 oz / 100 grams): MC: Color Pumpkin Spice (1 skein), CC: Color Under the Sea (1 skein)
• Or 171 yd / 156 m in MC, and 42 yd / 38 m in CC of DK / Light Worsted weight yarn
• Needle: US6 / 4 mm: 32″ / 80cm circular needle
• Gauge: 22 sts x 30 rows for 4″/10 cm in stranded and lace stitches; 23sts x 30 rows in textured stitch pattern.
• Size: 9.5″ (24 cm) long x 26″ (65 cm) top and bottom circumference; 25″ (62.5 cm) middle circumference
