This design was inspired by Karen Alfke’s “Traveling Sweater”. I wanted to design a man’s sweater with the same comfy feel. The shawl collar is knit “one size fits all”, shaped with short rows. Stitches are then picked up and the sweater is worked from the top-down, in one piece, with no seams and raglan shaping. Length and width can be adjusted by having the sweater tried on as you work, guaranteeing great fit.
