The vine earwarmer is a stunning twist of traveling cables. Just like the many species of newly discovered plants, we can discover new ways to transform our yarn. While I’m still working on my green thumb as an aspiring gardener, for now, I find the vines in knitting are longer lasting.

• Crochet Hook 5.0 mm (H), I highly recommend Furls Hook (affiliate link) or a Tulip Rose Crochet Hook (link below). I love both of these.
• Yarn Needle
• Scissors
• Ribbon or leather strip detail

Yarn:
DK Weight 3 Yarn
• Yarn Bee Must Be Merino in colorway Olive

Yardage:
• Approx. 175 Yards 160 meters

If gauge is met, other yarns of the same weight can be substituted:

• Red Heart Baby Hugs Light

Gauge:
• 16 sts and 20 rows = 4” (10 cm)

Measurements:
• Width: Adult size, brim stretches to fit 19-23″ heads (48-58 cm)
Height: 4 inches (10 cm)

• ch - chain
• FF3DC- Front Float 3 Double Crochet

• OC- Opening Curve
• RC - Right Cross
• RS - right side
• sc - single crochet
• sk3fs- Skip 3 Floating Stitches
• WS - wrong side
