An easy, slouchy hat, using garter stitch and a stripe of contrasting texture to show off the beauty of natural coloured wool. This is an idea for a hat that has travelled with me for a good number of years. Easy to memorise and make, it’s a great project to travel with and once knitted it’s a great project to travel in for casual wear and outdoor adventures.
Skills required: Casting on and working in the round, knit & purl, joining new colours, Kitchener stitch
