Travelling Chains Hat
Cables of alternating lengths wind their way up to the crown in this unisex hat design. They are worked diagonally across six stitches. Every fourth round, the beginning of round shifts to create the left leaning slant of the cable braids. The hat comes in three sizes: Small, Medium, and Large.
The matching scarf is available here.

Special Notes: You might achieve variations of the sizes by using smaller/bigger needles and lighter/heavier yarn weight.
For example, knit in Fingering weight yarn you can easily turn it into a baby hat.
You might also use more than one colour for a contrast colour brim, for example, or add a pom-pom. (Instructions for colour change and pom-pom making are not included in the pattern)
