“Travelling Stones”

This shawl has been designed for the latest season of Outlander where travelling through the stones has been a height of the script.
The shawl is created in a chunky yarn, making it a quick knitting project and one perfect to start now and have ready as the cooler months return.

I have created it in one colour and used the texture to create the stone shapes, for the advanced knitter you could always use a different colour for the stone shapes if you wished.

The design is suitable for a knitter who knows the basic stitches, there are no charts to work from and the pattern is written row by row to make it an easy piece to create.

It is created on 8mm needles with approx. 475m of chunky yarn used in its creation.
