Pattern fits Teen/Adult head, 21-24 inch circumference.

If you feel the brim fits too tight, you can increase your beginning Chain as long as you end up with an odd amount. It will make the ribbing even when you finish the brim.
This pattern is for a slick, thick and warm beanie!

You will need a 6mm hook and 170-200 yards of worsted weight yarn. Any brand should be fine. Abbreviations used in this pattern are as follows:

CH
HDC
FPHDC
SLST
HDC DEC
FPHDC DEC

As long as you know these abbreviations and about the hdc third loop, you should be fine.
