Denim jackets never go out of style and knitters will enjoy this woolly reworking of a classic garment! Our version has been designed using a denim shade of Debbie Bliss’s Luxury Tweed Aran yarn to create a luxuriously soft fabric. The collar, yoke, button bands and hems are worked in moss stitch; a band of tassels around the top of the bustline gives a Wild West feel, but these can be omitted.

To fit bust:
32-34 36-38 40-42 44-46 inches

Actual bust:
39¾ 44 48½ 53 inches

This is a pattern for a denim style jacket, originally published in The Knitter. It is worked in simple stitches with a fringe added to the yoke. UK sizes 8-10; 12-14; 16-18; 20-22. Length; 55-61 cm. Actual chest around body: 100, 110, 120, 130 cm. Yarn needed: 9, 10, 11, 12 x 50 gm balls.
