Trawalua is an oversized sweater with a boat neck, drop shoulders, colourwork sleeves and colourwork border at the hem of the body. The sweater is knit top down and mostly in the round.

The pattern suggests 3 sleeve lengths to choose from, however you can easily adjust sleeve length to your liking.

Sizes:
The pattern comes in 9 sizes (1, 2, 3) (4, 5, 6) (7, 8, 9) with bust circumference measuring (98, 109, 120) (131, 142, 152.5) (163.5, 174.5, 185.5) cm / (39.25, 43.5, 48) (52.5, 56.75, 61) (65.5, 69.75, 74.25) inches. It is meant to be worn with a large positive ease in the bust of 30 cm / 12 inches and above. The sample is shown in size 5 with a positive ease of 55 cm / 22 inches at the bust and full length sleeves

These measurements are for the final sweater after washing and blocking. As the sweater is knitted top-down, you can decide on the length as you go. The pattern and the yardage have been given for an average height of approx. 165 cm / 5‘ 5’’, sweater measuring at the hip level and full length sleeves.

Suggested yarn:
Heritage 4 ply (80% scotch mule, 20% swedish finewool) from Woollentwine Fibrestudio, 100 g - 400 m / 438 yds. Sample used col. Deer as MC and Undyed as CC, 100%

Yarn substitution:
fingering weight to achieve gauge (woolen spun or other suitable for colourwork)

Yardage:
The yardage is given for full length sleeves (3 sleeve pattern repeats) and includes extra for swatching:
MC: (940, 980, 1060) (1100, 1160, 1320) (1400, 1540, 1660) meters / (1028, 1072, 1159) (1203, 1269, 1444) (1531, 1684, 1816) yds
