This is a knitted and crocheted cardigan!

Have fun knitting and crocheting this colourful cardigan, be creative and use many colours, or choose just one colour for a completely different look.

To make this cardigan you start by crocheting strips of granny squares, then you pick up the stitches on the sides and knit the front and back panels and the sleeves.

There are three sizes:

Size S:
Width: 35.4 inch/90 cm
Length: 32.6 inch/83 cm

Size M/L:
Width: 42 inch/106 cm
Length: 36.6 inch/93 cm

Size XL:
Width: 47.2 inch/120 cm
Length: 36.6 inch/93 cm

Note: For a larger size, you can simply add a few rows to the panels. Also, the length can be adjusted by doing less or more granny squares. For instance do only 8 squares for a shorter version, (the yarn amount needed will then be about 1200 yards)

A square of two rounds measures 3 x 3 inch/ 8 x 8 cm.

You can use any yarn you like, but gauge is essential. The pattern is perfect for using left overs.

For this cardigan I used stash yarn. The yarn is not available everywhere or maybe discontinued, but to give you an example of what you could use, this is the list:

1 x Drops Big Delight Print color 07 red/orange/purple: 208 yards/190 meters/100 g
4 x Schewe Fantastico color A14: 82 yards/75 meters/50g
4 x Fourure Lammy Yarns color 04 cream/brown/ochre: 43 yards/39 meters/50 g.
2 x Cream colored yarn 50 g, approx. 98 yards/90 meters/50 g
4 x (size XL: 5) Persia Schachenmayr Nomotta color 052 jeans blue boucle yarn: 98 yards/90 meters/50 g

The pattern has a handy schedule to write down your own yarn choices and schematic drawings of all the parts and measurements.
