I named this pattern “Treasures” after finding some extremely cheap cashmere yarn in a charity shop. These types of shops always seem to have very fine yarn either rolled or on cones and I decided to write a pattern especially for these to see exactly how much yarn would be needed.
For this pattern, I suspected the yarn was 2 ply (very light fingering) so held 2 strands together and worked on a 2.75mm and 3mm needles. Any similar yarn would work as long as it is to the same tension that I got - 36sts x 40 rows is 4” (10cm) on 3mm needles

My pattern is easy to follow and includes the instructions for 3 different sizes, all colour coded for both the vest top and the cardigan
