This pattern is actually two patterns in one.

The first pattern is a super simple pattern for beginners, worked flat and explained in a lot of detail.

The second pattern is a slightly more terse pattern, worked in the round with some complexity which may pose more of a challenge for some.

The finished result is basically the same.

Knitting tightly may cause trouble adding the mitten top. Check your gauge, please. Size up a needle or more if needed.
