Tree and Branches Illusion Knit
This pattern is
available for free.
This is an illusion knit pattern of a tree with branches. The branches on this tree are close together, so when you knit this you may see this as a tree with leaves, rather than a tree with its branches. Kind of like the glass is half empty or half full analogy. Either way, it is a tree.
Add a crocheted edge to the scarf to help with the curled edges and lightly steam ironed over the edges of the scarf with a towel over it. Be careful not to iron over the patterned areas - the purl stitches - or it may get too flat the the illusion won’t be as visible.
More of my illusion knit patterns can be found on my blog and on Ravelry.
This pattern is chart only.
