Snuggle up in a tree’s hug! Being the perfect balance between airy and structured, this scarf combines an easy drop stitch pattern with a neat I-Cord-edging. The rounded tips and the flowing rib give a feminine and easy vibe. Your Tree Bark Scarf can be an elegant accessory, a cosy wrap or anything in between.

Construction:
The scarf is knitted from tip to tip. Increases in the first half and decreases in the second half are worked on both sides next to the I-Cord-edges. The structure is created by a 2 x 2 ribbing with dropped stitches in between. Instructions for the stitch pattern are charted and written.
Knit the scarf with any yarn you like, adjusting needle size, gauge and yarn quantities accordingly. If using a limited quantity of yarn, I recommend to weigh the yarn before casting on and make sure that you have roughly two thirds of the yarn left when you have finished the increase part.

Konstruktion:
Der Schal wird von Spitze zu Spitze gestrickt. Zunahmen in der ersten Hälfte und Abnahmen in der zweiten Hälfte werden auf beiden Seiten neben dem I-Cord-Rand gearbeitet. Das Muster besteht aus einem 2 x 2 Rippenmuster mit Fallmaschen innerhalb der Rippen. Die Anleitung enthält sowohl Charts als auch ausgeschriebene Anweisungen für das Muster.
Du kannst den Schal mit jedem Garn stricken, wenn du Nadelstärke und Maschenprobe anpasst. Falls du eine begrenzte Garnmenge zur Verfügung hast, empfehle ich das Garn vor Beginn zu wiegen und sicherzustellen, dass du am Ende des Zunahmeteils noch etwa zwei Drittel des Garns übrig hast.
