Tree Line Shawl
The Tree Line Shawl is a crescent-shaped shawl worked from the center-top down using a combination of two-color brioche rib stitch and an original two-color brioche stitch pattern. This pattern can be easily customized to achieve a desired size.
The stitch pattern used in this shawl is a variation of my dendritic stitch pattern. This variation is reminiscent of small trees, and the pattern was designed and named for the phenomenon of trees disappearing at high elevations.
I really hope you enjoy the pattern!
Pattern is provided in written and chart form. Also provided are links to video demonstrations for the cast-on and the brioche decrease stitches.
Finished Size:
Wingspan: 75 in/188 cm
Center Depth: 25 in/64 cm
This pattern can be easily customized to achieve a desired size.
Gauge
20 sts and 26 rows = 4 in/10 cm in the two-color brioche pattern, after blocking.
Gauge is not critical for this shawl but may affect yardage needed to complete the shawl.
