Completed Size: 32” x 36”

The corn plant is the central figure which was very important as a food source and is one of the Four Sacred Plants. The Yei figures have square heads indicating they are female depictions of Holy People. The Rainbow Yei is the primary Guardian protecting all but the East opening. East is the safest direction and is protected by lesser guardians usually occurring in pairs. (Reference below.)

Note: This is an advanced pattern. It requires 5 colors and is not recommended for a first time purchase. However, it is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS when completed.

We show you our unique technique using only BASIC DOUBLE CROCHET to produce multi-colored, completely reversible hand crocheted products in one step. The finished products maintain their shape and texture washing after washing.

Each pattern comes with a block diagram and instruction sheet and includes colors and amount of yarn required. All of our Patterns use 4 Ply Acrylic Yarn (wool can also be used). You will also receive our simple illustrated instruction booklet showing the method used to change colors quickly and easily while at the same time, making a completely reversible piece of crochet work.

This technique is ridiculously simple and horribly addicting!
