N E E D L E S
1 x US 1 (2.25 mm) circular needle (32” / 80 cm)
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct
gauge.
GAUGE (after wet blocking, measured
unstretched)
With US 1 (2.25 mm) 32” / 80 cm circular needle,
32 sts & 44 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette stitch
Tree Swing Pattern 2: 31 sts = 2¾” / 7 cm (Size 1),
35 sts = 3¼” / 8 cm (Size 2)

NOTIONS
Markers, tapestry needle, scissors, cable needle

PATTERN NOTE
These socks are worked toe-up. The instructions are
written using the magic loop method with a circular
needle. N1 is the needle for sole, heel and calf, and
N2 is for instep and shin.
N1’s stitches are worked in stockinette stitch, then
increases are made for the gusset. On N2, after the
toe, Tree Swing Pattern 1, then Tree Swing Pattern 2
are worked. The heel turn and heel frap is worked
back and forth on N1. On completion of the heel
flap, N1 stitches are worked in 2x1 ribbing, while on
N2, Tree Swing Pattern 2 continues from the gusset.
The cuff is worked in 1x1 ribbing.

パターンノート
トゥアップの靴下. 輪針のマジックループを使⽤した⽅法で
解説している. N1 が⾜底, かかと, ふくらはぎ側, N2 が
甲, すね側を編む.
つま先から輪で編む. N1 では常にメリヤス編みを編み, 途
中からまちを作るために増し⽬を開始する. N2 ではTree
Swing Pattern 1, 次にTree Swing Pattern 2 を編む.
かかとはN1 のみで往復編みをする. 脚でN1 ではゴム編
みを開始し, N2 ではまちから続けてTree Swing Pattern
2 を編む. 履き⼝のねじりゴム編みを編む.
