Treeline Slippers
These slippers are made almost entirely in the round. The soles are flattened tubes so they are double thickness for a super comfy, cushy feel. When finished, the entire slipper is completely lined with the smooth side of stocking stitch against your feet. If you find knitted footwear uncomfortable, you might want to give these a try!
Treeline Slippers use some special techniques, including provisional or toe-up cast on methods. There are so many and there are loads of great tutorials. Whichever method you choose will be fine. The pattern also calls for Kitchener Stitch and Wrap and Turn Short Rows. I’ve provided detailed instructions at the end of the pattern.
There is also a sheet to make notes of your stitch and row counts for each part of the slipper at the end of the pattern. You can also use it to make slippers with wider toes and narrower heels, if you like. It’s simply a matter of adding or subtracting four stitches.
