This sweater is perfect for a cold winter day.  It is a wonderfully squishy sweater that will keep you nice and warm.  

Although this sweater has lots of color, it is knit with only one color per row.  The sweater calls for 5 colors: a background color on the front and back, with the other 4 colors making stripes.  Then the other 4 colors are used in pairs for the sleeves and sides.

It is knit in panels that are attached to each other as you knit.  It has 3 needle bind off for the shoulders seams.  The sides are seamed from the bottom of the sweater to the bottom of the armhole, with the seam continuing down the sleeve to the cuff.  The bottom, neck and sleeves bands are picked up and knit afterwards.
