Trehøje
The sweater is knitted with Blackhill Højlandswool.
A background color is used, which is the same throughout the knitwear.
The triangular motifs are knitted with all sorts of left over yarn in blue/violet shades, which are put together to form magical balls.
For the rib edges, a violet color is used, which is also included in the magic balls.
It is therefore possible to use leftover yarn for the project - perhaps supplemented by something new, for example for the background color.
Also use other yarn qualities and colors, as long as the tension is right.
The shape has a deep armhole and a wide neckline.
The pattern describes 6 sizes - chest from 90 - 140 cm
The sweater is knitted on needles 3 and 3.5 mm.
Tension:
24 stitches x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm (stranded knitting on needles 3.5 mm)
Magic ball or scrap yarn ball.
Magic balls is a term for yarn balls with long color changes, that you make yourself.
Different lengths of yarn are spliced or tied together to form a continuous thread.
For the body I have used pieces of 1 – 3 m and approx. half for the sleeves.
The colors are mixed randomly and/or according to what is available.
