Trekking Hat
Yak down is a fiber that has been used in the East for centuries to provide warmth from the sub-zero temperatures of the Himalayas.
The scales of yak fiber are in a waved mosaic pattern, that result in a smooth fiber that is very soft and does not itch.
Being the finest quality yak down available, this yak down is softer than cashmere, and warmer than wool.
The design of this hat was inspired by the hat that young Gerta worn in the 2002 film of “The Snow Queen”. I took the same design of hat that she wore and added to it some tibetan inspiration.
The pattern will be sent to you as a PDF. I have worked hard to ensure that there are no mistakes in this pattern, but if you should come across one please let me know & I will be happy to correct it for you.
