My grandmother grew moonflowers on a slatted trellis which stretched from the kitchen windows to the back porch. Summer evenings were perfumed by the flowers. I remember the magic of those evenings and designed this shawl as I reminisced about everyday enchantments.

Trellis Blooms Shawl is crescent shaped, beginning at top center back and worked down and outward. The shawl showcases a vine and leaf pattern and is bordered with a stylized moonflower. Directions are provided for adjusting size.

Note: The color changes in the model are due to use of a gradient yarn. This pattern does not contain instructions for working color changes.

This pattern is suitable for lace knitters with some experience, as close attention to charts is needed.
