Trellis Stitch is like ribbing in that it stretches. The gauge for this stitch pattern is different when it is “relaxed” when not wearing it or when it is stretched by wearing it. The relaxed gauge is: 9 sts x 12 rows; when stretched: 7 sts x 15 rows for 4”/10cm.
