Based on the pi-shawl, this elegant accessory gracefully drapes over the shoulders and stays put.

The construction is simple enough for the inexperienced knitter, but sophisticated enough to keep the interest of more seasoned knitters. The increasing widths of the alternating bands of stockinette and mesh lace are inspired by the Pythagorean Golden Rule.

The overall crescent shape provides a functional drape that keeps its warmth wrapped around you, while the fullness in the center gives it a seductive swing. Its elegant construction, paired with this versatile yarn, makes this a true 3-season shawl.

The pattern provides directions for two sizes, depending on where you would like the gorgeous, wide lace border to fall on your back. The smaller size requires 1 full skein, and the larger one requires two full skeins.
