Worked from the cuff down in a fine Fingering weight yarn, Trellis feature cables settled on the Stocking stitch background.
Both size socks are worked following the same pattern instructions; changing needle size and using either Fingering or a DK weight yarn makes them different size.

  • DIFFICULTY Intermediate with advanced cables – knit, purl, cabling, working in the round, simple increases and decreases and finishing.

  • FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 7 ¾ (9 ½) in / 19.5 (24) cm foot circumference and 8 ¾ (10 ¼) in / 22 (26) cm long from back of heel to tip of toe; foot length is adjustable.

  • YARN Shown in smaller size – The Unique Sheep, Verve (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 400 yds / 360m / 100g) in Turquoise, 1 skein. For larger size use DK weight sock yarn such as Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks that Rock Mediumweight.

  • GAUGE Smaller size – 17 sts and 22 rnds = 2 in / 5 cm in St St; 21 sts and 25 rnds = 2 in / 5 cm in Trellis pattern Larger size – 14 sts and 20 rnds = 2 in / 5 cm in St St; 19 sts and 22 rnds = 2 in / 5 cm in Trellis pattern Adjust needle size to get correct gauge if needed.
