Trelliserium
“Trelliserium” is an abstract word to describe the the synthesis of natural growth and man-made structures. The rosettes and cables evoke the flowers and climbing vines that inspired this design, yet give an architectural structure to the cowl. While the pattern may look complicated, it is quite intuitive and can be hard to put down.
Techniques/Skills:

-2-stitch decreases
Yarn: I used about 1.5 skeins of Quince and Co. Chickadee, but recommend any sportweight yarn with good stitch definition. Solid color, tonal, or lightly speckled yarns would play beautifully with the textural elements.
Needles and Gauge: I used a 24” US5 circular needles to get my gauge. However, gauge isn’t particularly important as long as you are happy with the fabric that you are producing.
Finished Size: 7.5 inches (height) x 10 inches (width) when lying flat.
