There’s something a bit luxurious about layered fabrics… and they are so snuggly-warm to wear! This loose cowl can be worn with the openwork trellis facing outwards so you can show off the stitch pattern with the rich lining colour peeping through - or for a sleeker look, flip it the other way around so only the lightly textured lining layer is visible.

Worked in the round with an icord starter, and involves some basic openwork and a simple sewn final seam. Photo tutorials included for the icord pickup, knitted icord bind off (optional), and seaming. Online tutorials linked for the various icord options and other techniques.

Designed for two 100g skeins of DK 8ply, in contrasting colours, you will also need a 4.5mm crochet hook. For the icord you can either knit it on 5mm needles or crochet it with a 5mm hook. US crochet terms used. Finished size 40cm x 18cm laid flat.
