Gauge: 28 sts & 36 rows = 10cm / 4” over St st worked in the round on 2.25mm needles, after blocking.
Needles: 2mm / US 0 needles suitable for working small circumferences in the round

Notions: 5 stitch markers (including one unique for beginning of round), crochet hook (for provisional cast-on), waste yarn or stitch holders, tapestry needle
Notes: Trembita are worked in the round, starting with a narrow folded cuff. The top of the hand is then worked in a Roositud pattern, with the palm and thumb gusset in Stocking stitch. After the gusset, live sts are placed on hold for the thumb while the body of the mitten is completed, then the thumb is finished in Stocking stitch
