Tremendous Tote
The Fibonacci sequence determines striping on this roomy tote. The top portion (and surprise pocket on the inside) is felted whereas the bottom part is made out of the bamboo/soy blend yarn and will not. Lot of fun to make and not hard at all!

Yarn: Zitron Nimbus (100% organic merino wool; 109 yd 100 m/1¾ oz 50 g): #409 black (A), 4 skeins. Yarn distributed by Skacel. Schulana Sojabama (55% bamboo, 45% soy; 120 yd 110 m/1¾ oz 50 g): #17 cerulean (B), #09 tangerine (E), 1 ball each; #22 aqua (C), #18 turquoise (D), #12 black (F), 2 balls each. Yarn distributed by Skacel.

Hook: Sizes H/8 (5 mm) and F/5 (3.75 mm). Adjust hook sizes if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

Notions: Stitch markers (m)—2 each in 2 colors; yarn needle; DMC embroidery floss 25 (100% cotton; 8.7 yd 8 m): #319 black, 2 hanks; Muench Yarns Grayson E 24” rolled leather handle set; ¾“ magnetic snap; 8” of 7/8” wide grosgrain ribbon, black; ½ yard matching fabric; matching sewing thread; invisible nylon thread; sewing needle; straight pins; large-eye chenille sewing needle; piece of plastic needlepoint canvas at least 4” by 18”.
