NOTE: I HAVE NOT TESTED THE PATTERN
This scarf is made using entrelac crochet, a technique that creates a textured, woven look using diagonal squares. I have adapted the entrelac technique typically used with Tunisian simple stitch to work with the Tunisian knit stitch, making a Tunisian hook unnecessary.

The pattern includes instructions for four different sizes: short, medium, long, and super long. However, you can easily modify the width and length of the scarf to your preferred size once you understand the pattern.

Gauge: 8 stitches and 8 rows in Tunisian knit stitch equals 6.5cm.

For this pattern, you will need an 8.00 mm crochet hook (or size needed to achieve gauge), scissors, measurement tape and bulky weight yarn. The amount of yarn needed will depend on the size you choose to make.

See below for the recommended amount of yarn for each size. (If you pick two colors, divide by two the amount of yarn to know yardage per colour; if you pick four colours, divide by four the total amount to know the yardage per colour):

• Short size: 600-700g (800-930m)
• Medium size: 800-1000g (1060-1330m)
• Long size: 1000-1200g (1330-1600m)
• Super Long size: 1200-1400g (1600-1860m)

To achieve the same checkered pattern as mine, you will need four different colors of yarn (A, B, C, and D). However, you can use as many or as few colors as you like. For example, two colors, will make a checkerboard pattern.

Blocking the finished item is optional, my suggestion is blocking one end first and then the other due to the size of the scarf. The middle part of the scarf is already flat and doesn’t curve.

Esta bufanda se hace usando entrelac, una técnica que se construye de manera diagonal cuadrado por cuadrado. He adaptado la técnica que normalmente se usa con punto tunecino simple al punto derecho, así que no se necesita un ganchillo tunecino.

El patrón incluye instrucciones para cuatro tamaños: pequeño, medio, largo y superlargo. Sin embargo, podrás modificar el ancho y el largo de la bufanda a tu gusto cuando entiendas la técnica.

Tensión: 8 puntos y 8 filas en punto tunecino derecho para un cuadrado de 6.5 cm

Para tener el mismo dibujo que el mío, necesitarás cuatro colores (A, B, C y D). Puedes usar los colores que quieras. Por ejemplo, si usas dos colores te quedará una bufanda a cuadros.

Recomiendo bloquear la bufanda porque el ganchillo tunecino, como el punto, hace que quede la bufanda curva. Como es una bufanda muy larga, yo he bloqueado un extremo primero y después el otro, porque la parte del medio ya está plana.
