This helmet hat will work for the girls and guys!! Tons of different ways to style this hat. You can make them warm and cozy, trendy and cool, or the wearing of your “colors”!!

I have also added my own unique “Gauge as you Go” system to this pattern, making it sooooo easy to get the size you want.

The choice of yarns is endless, and the “Gauge as you Go” system allows you to use just about any yarn out there. You can use any 4-ply for the MC, and any bulky yarn, or how two strand of boucle, or two strands of 4ply, one strand of pipsqueak, or Bernats Baby Blanket, or any chenille type of yarn. Like I said earlier…the yarn combinations are endless!

This hat will crochet up very quickly for you too…..and you won’t get bored either!!
