There is an ancient legend which claims that if you throw a coin into the Trevi Fountain in Rome, you will be sure to return to Rome again one day. Coin shaped lace cascades down these socks like coins being thrown into a fountain. Knit your wishes into these socks, or simply enjoy the easy, breezy, coin lace.

These socks have NO CABLES on them! The faux cable created by the lace is a very easy technique - no need to worry about cable needles or dropping stitches without a cable needle.

Trevi Socks are worked from the toe up, with a gapless short row heel. A full length short row heel tutorial is linked in the pattern - don’t be afraid of short rows, I’ll walk you through the whole thing step by step!

Instructions are included for both a mid calf sock and an ankle sock, and suggestions are included for helping the sock fit a wide or large calf.

Sizing: 58 (66, 70) stitch socks, which can easily be modified to a larger or smaller size if need be.

This pattern has been professionally tech edited and tested for accuracy, clarity, and correctness.
