SIZES 1-3 uses US 9: 26 sts and 24 rnds = 4”/10 cm in Rib Pattern, unstretched

yarn (100% Superwash Merino wool; 181 yds/166m/100g) per skein

Unstretched circumference: 8 (11, 12.5, 16, 19.5)” / 20.5 (28, 32, 40.5, 49.5) cm

Note: Hat can stretch to fit head circumferences
of 11.5 (14.5, 16, 19.5, 23)” / 29 (37, 40.5, 49.5,

NEEDLE:
Sizes 1-3: US 9 (5.5 mm) 16-inch (61 cm) circular
needle & set of DPNs, or size to obtain gauge
Sizes 4-5: US 8 (5.0 mm) 16-inch circular & set of
DPNs, or size to obtain gauge

NOTIONS: Stitch marker, 1 – 1” button, optional,
yarn needle

SAMPLE: The sample hat (Size 3) was knit with MUSE2320 Raven, heavy worsted/Aran weight in colorway Hi-5. It weighs 77 grams with the optional band and used 139 yds. The circumference is 16” laid flat & unstretched, and easily stretches to 23”.
