This pattern is written for an adult size but it is adjustable by eliminating stitches. Stitch count isn’t overly important here, so long as you work with an even amount of stitches. This hat is worked from the brim up.

Supplies
– Worsted weight yarn, 175 yards
– I hook (5.5mm) For a looser fit, use a 6.0mm or 6.5mm for the body
– Sewing needle
– Scissors

Terminology
Ch – Chain
Sl St – Slip stitch
SC – Single crochet
BLO – Crochet into back loop only (loop furthest from you)
SC2TOG – Single crochet two together to decrease
Triad Stitch – Also, mhdc2tog, modified half double crochet 2 together
