Triangle Moss Stitch Shawl is a modern and one-row-repeat shawl worked worked from the centre top down using a fingering yarn. It’s perfect for inexperienced crocheters and the moss stitich lovers.
Materials & Tools:
- Yarn SCHEEPJES Whirlette 100g = 455m, 60% Cotton and 40% Acryl, 5 skeins. For the shawl sample I used approx.: 900m (2 skeins) of the main color Ice (860), 73m of Mango (853), 151m of Grappa (855) and 230m of Blueberry (854).
- Hook size 3,5 mm. Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
- Tapestry needle (to weave and hide yarn ends)
- Scissor
Level: Beginner +
Gauge after blocking:
After 12 rows triangle is aprrox. 10cm/4in wide.
Gauge is not crucial for this project. However, changes might result in a different yardage requirements and the finished size.
Size after blocking:
Wingspan - 173cm, Center depth - 75cm
Notes:
• The pattern uses US Terminology
• This shawl is worked from the centre top down.
• You can adjust the length/width of this shawl by adding or removing rows of the pattern. My shawl finished at the 147 row of the pattern.
• The pattern includes the stitch charts and colors scheme for every row.
