Triangle with a Twist
This is the very basic triangle shawl pattern that I use for pretty much any “made up” shawl that I make. It is the first type of shawl that I ever learned to make, and it is still my go-to shawl type.
This is a “recipe” for a triangle shawl, but the first repeat of the pattern is explained in detail and then the repeats after that are optional and can be put in at your leisure.
Adjustable size, depending on how big you want it or how much yarn you have.
I used three balls of Malabrigo Rios and it is at least 60” from tip to tip. It can be done in any size yarn, in any quantity.
Needles 2-3 sizes larger than suggested are used to give the shawl a good drape, and this can also be changed to suit your fancy.
It is a very versatile pattern, with just enough pizazz to really show off a beautiful variegated yarn!
