I love playful, somewhat decadent shawls, and the “Kyria” shawl was created out of this passion! It is a beautiful shawl, with lots of different stitches and patterns. Boredom is certainly not an option here! The shawl can be crocheted in any size, as the rows are repeated.

The pattern is intended for advanced crocheters who know following stitches and techniques:

  • magic ring
  • chain
  • slip stitch
  • double crochet
  • treble
  • front post single crochet
  • back post single crochet
  • front post double crochet
  • back post double crochet
  • back post puff stitch (explained in the tutorial in the pattern)
  • puff stitch
  • bobble stitch

The pattern includes:

  • general information on the pattern
  • information on used tool and wool
  • information on stitches and abbreviations
  • written description of each row
  • crochet chart (drawn on the computer)
  • table with stitch count
  • tutorial for special stitches

The scarf in the main photo has following dimensions: 180 x 75 cm.
The scarf can be crocheted in any size, as the rows repeat.

Following tools are needed:

  • crochet hook 3.5 mm
  • sewing needle
  • scissors
  • pins (for stretching)
