This basket has a bold design but is a handy size, perfect for keeping your yarn stash to hand. It also looks super cute as a little grocery basket if you feel like trotting to the shops with it.

It’s a really good starter pattern if you’re just learning tapestry crochet, and you can use any colour or brand of jersey yarn that you like - but from experience I’d stick to two colours from the same brand. I used a mix of Tek Tek and Boodles and found that one was much thinner, I’d recommend just going for Zpagetti as it’s the mosrt consistent.
