The Triboulet Shawl was created to accomidate 2 skeins of DK at 250 yards each and one half skein of DK at 125 yards in a contrasting color. The mosaic color work technique was chosen to best utilize the most yarn possible. The mosaic allows each color to be showcased indiviually while colors play togther also adding different texture within the shawl. Some of the textures were reminiscent of a jesters outfit, hence naming this shawl after the worlds most famous jester, Triboulet.
