Your little one will want to take T-tops everywhere! He’s a softy but is also very protective. This pattern makes a medium (18” long x 7.5” high x 4.5” wide) dinosaur using medium-weight yarn. A larger trike can be made with bulkier weight yarn (measurements not available). Using 2 yarns simultaneously gives it a sturdier feel and allows for wonderful color combinations.

UPDATED 12/2/18:
I think the counts are off on the pattern for sub-steps in round 58, so it should be:

1. 24 sts, ending in st 20 of previous row
2. 27 sts, ending in st 23 of previous row
3. 29 sts, ending in 27 of previous row Since step 4 does not increase or decrease any stitches, we should really have an ending stitch count of 30 after step 3. So my recommendation is to change Step 3 to: sc2tog next 2 sts, sc in next 2 sts This would result in 30 sts, ending in 27 of the previous row.
4. sc in next X sts The purpose of this step is to ensure rnd 59 starts in the correct spot, per the diagram shown in the rnd 58 instructions (the circle with the lines on the right half).
