Triceratops Dinosaur
This is a pattern for a triceratops (Triceratops horridus), a large herbivorous dinosaur that lived during the late Cretaceous period. The most recognizable characteristics of the triceratops are the large bony frill and the three horns on the head.
For this pattern you will need:
- worsted/aran weight yarn; brown (± 300 m) and light beige (± 75 m)
- hook (4-4,5 mm)
- one pair of safety eyes (10 mm)
- sewing needle
- stuffing material
This pattern is only available in english (US terms).
This is an intermediate pattern, some experience with several crochet techniques are recommended. The pattern works mainly in the round, except for the frill, which is worked in rows. The pattern contains a lot of pictures that should help with understanding the pattern better.
The triceratops is about 45 cm long (from head to tail) and about 15 cm in height (from back to toe).
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or notes about the pattern.
