Triceratops Lovey or Security Blanket
Finally a little lovey for that special little boy in your life or for any dinosaur enthusiasts. Actually this pattern could easily be adapted for that special little girl in your life, just by switiching colours and possibly adding a flower to her head :) the blanket pattern is meant to look like scales, but not feel like them. As I am pretty sure a triceratops would have had scaly skin :)
You will need the following to complete your project:
Bernat Softee Baby: little boy blue (1 ball)
Red heart super saver: light blue (100 grams)
Worsted weight beige yarn: small amount
4 mm hook
polyester stuffing
stitich marker
15 mm safety eyes
white felt optional for the eyes
You will need to know the following stitches: sc, hdc, dc, increase, decrease and a working knowledge of sewing amigurumi pieces together.
This pattern is 12 pages long and includes detailed instructions and photos to help you along the way. I am always available by email if you should have any questions :)
This is a listing for the pattern only and not the finished product.
