Es zeichnet ein Muster als wären es verkürzte Reihen …
Das gab dann der Socke auch den Namen ,,Trick17 Socks“.

Besonders gut eignen sich hierfür handgefärbte Garne mit langen Farbverläufen.

Die Originalsocke hat die Größe 39/40, kann aber in jeder anderen Größe gestrickt werden.

Mehr möchte ich an dieser Stelle auch schon nicht verraten, alles weitere findet ihr gut erklärt und bebildert in der Anleitung.

Die Socke wird ganz normal vom Schaft nach unten gestrickt.

A simple, but effective trick lets you knit socks that look much more complicated than they are. The short-row look is achieved by a very uncomplicated method – you only need to know how to cast on, knit and purl in the round and bind off: no wrapping and turning, and no double stitches. Of course, if you want this to become a sock, you will need to know how to work a heel or toe; links to video tutorials for heel and toe are included in the pattern.

Hand-dyed yarn is a must to achieve the look, solid colors won’t work for this pattern.

The 5-page pattern is written out (no charts). The actual instructions are compacted on one page so it’s easy to print. Print only page 3 if you want to save ink or toner.

“Trick 17” describes a stunning, unconventional and often quite simple solution to a baffling problem. Only successful solutions deserve the honor to be called “Trick 17”, because the main condition for a “Trick 17” is that it always works, and of course without delay!
