Tricklebrook
Tricklebrook features a tri-spine construction to create a shawl with a flattering flat edge across the back in place of the traditional point of a triangular shawl.
Tricklebrook features customizable sizing. The solid section is worked until the shawl is ½ the desired wingspan or until 1/3 of the available yardage has been used. The mesh section uses 2/3 of the total yardage for the shawl. A scale or other means for measuring weight/yardage of your yarn is recommended.
Needle: US 4 (3.5mm) – US 7 (4.5mm)
Yarn: 480-800 yards fingering weight yarn
Pattern is easily adapted to other yarn weights by adjusting needle size to achieve preferred fabric. Yardage requirements will vary.
Size: Adjustable
Notions:
18 stitch markers
Scale (recommended)
Notes:
Solid section uses 1/3 of total amount of yarn. Lace section uses 2/3 of total amount of yarn.
Sample knit with Done Roving Yarn’s Frolicking Feet, Strawberries and cream.
